As we are all housebound for weeks/months, it would be useful to be able to avoid having to continually hold tablets and mobile phones during Skype calls, by allowing Skype to cast to my TV.
I can't find anyway to do this right now. I'd like casting via Roku kit, or would reluctantly use Google Chromecast. Note that affordable webcams are in very short supply right now, so I feel this suggestion would be useful for a lot of Skype users worldwide.

I use Skype on a PC but can only use Skype Lite on an older Android Tablet (4.3) ,I would like to transfer /link the contacts from Skype to Skype Lite.

Using your audio calls often ive noticed that some days i can hardly hear the person on the other side and some days i get headaches because theyre so loud also skype tends to pick up on the background sounds a loot i can hear Michel Scott in my chest sometimes

Translate text is really good (although sometimes it stops working)

However you need an option to turn off voice translate but keep text translate.

This is because we practice english in voice but write in our own languages.
The voice translate is too loud and we cant hear each other in english
Also voice translate is not accurate at all for russian to english or english to russian translation.

Remove the Message React Emoji icon in Skype chat. It appears on each and every message received ... annoying. Why would I want to react to a message sent three or four messages before? The Emoji icon at the left of the Type a Message field is enough and in par with other messaging apps like Whatsapp.

I'd like to put up a background behind me on my SKYPE visual calls. Some from my own photo library. How do I do that?

It's about time to include a "Schedule a Meeting" feature with Calendar integration to Skype. That would certainly Zap the Zoom.

I suggest making chats more interactive and allow people to set their own color for their chat bubble or an outline or style of chat bubbles that other people can see. I think this would help spice up the look of group chats and really make things look pretty.

Skype doesn't show my contacts accurate active status until I close the app down and reboot it. Having to do this every five minutes which is getting annoying. Please fix it so it's correct. (Example, signs people out after 3 minutes etc, not stuck on something that isn't right.)

My idea is to give the people who are using the Skype “ application (skypers hhhh) the freedom to show their profile details as example : Last seen , offline, online ... etc

It would good if you could adjust the video setting whilst still viewing the picture and seeing what effect the changes are having to the image.
