Stop the current skype project and copy everything from skype for business. It is all what Skype should be.

Unlike earlier versions, in Skype 8 when you hover over the pencil icon, which is the icon signifying that a message has been edited, it doesn't display when it was edited.

Please include this vital information again. Skype support indicated that not including it is "by design."

Create icons that vision impaired people (i.e. macular degeneration) can see. It is not easy or intuitive to find settings that can help with making the screen larger and making icons more visible.

For vision impaired people, keeping the screen layout simple and keeping it the same is very helpful (because they tend to memorize where things are located on the screen).

One of the things that's a bit annoying about sharing the screen is there's a bunch of useless clutter when watching a screen share that's impossible to get rid of. Also it's not proper full screen anymore. Can you restore it to how it was before ruining it thanks?

Push to Talk. It is a thing. Literally every other VoIP app has this and Skype used to from what I gather.

My Skype version always starts with the Chats view. Creating an option to let users choose a different view, like Contacts which I use most, would be a better feature.

I want to retain the sign in, sign out procedure that I had with Skype 7. At the moment anyone can read my Skype messages if the computer in on. This is not what I want.

Wouldn't it be great to select all in a conversation history with someone, copy and paste it, and everything pasted , the ENTIRE chat, plus dates names and times, AND image/link previews?

Provide incoming chats with a sound even when a particular chat is not open, to alert for incoming message when away from the computer.
