How to Change WIFI Password
Creating a unique password is an important step in protecting your home network. This article will show you two ways to change your WiFi password:
Through the CenturyLink program
Through the wireless security area of the modem settings that you can access from a computer or other connected device
Note that you can also customize your network name (SSID) to make it easier to identify.

How to change WiFi password in modem settings
If you are prompted to select 64 or 128 bit, follow these guidelines:
64 bit: enter 10 characters *
128 bit: enter 26 characters *
* Symbols can only contain letters between A - F and numbers between 0 and 9 without spaces.
In all other cases, the password you choose must:
Have 8 to 63 characters
There must be at least one number from 0 to 9
There must be at least one letter from A to Z.
Note: a space character can be used (but not required)
Helpful Hint: If you have lost or forgotten your password, you can always log back into the wireless menu and select "Use Default" as your password. This will replace it with the original printed on the modem label.
