How bout shutting down Skype entirely or changing & integrating it to a more meaningful useful tool such as MS Teams as well as Zoom into the "Meet Now" option into existing consumers email accounts (Hotmail & Outlook) & give users a lot more choice with how they want to chat to their loved ones?
