Ability to turn off message previews and notifications during a call
Thousands of teachers use Skype for online classes each and every day.
It would be very helpful for teachers to block all message previews and notifications during a call, so that they can focus on the class fully.
Message previews and notifications should still be active for the student they are teaching at that moment, because teachers switch to other programs while screensharing with the student and cannot see the chat at all times.
Skype allows you to set "Do not disturb" status but that doesn't stop calls, notifications, or message previews based on whether you are on a call or not.
Also, if you turn on the "Do not disturb" status, you will stay in that status until you turn it off.
Here is an article that explains the different statuses: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/fa34699/what-are-the-possible-skype-statuses
