Skype should be a native application on each platform
Skype is, still, used by a huge amount of users so it deserves a real native version for each device/platform.
A native application is also the only want to keep Skype small, fast and lag free on the less powerful devices.
A native application is also needed to take full advantage of each platform, and to make sure look like a iPhone app on iPhone and as an Android app on Android.
Skype is a communication system that need to integrate very closely with the device and operating system where it is installed. Skype should behave as the built in phone app, it should be as quick, stable and lag free as it is. Skypa message functionality should behave and be just as quick as the built in sms message feature on a mobile device.
Skype need to integrate with the contacts on the device and be able to display them on a moment notice, without any lag.
All this is only possible with a native application on each device/os.
We work to make Skype work seamlessly on each of the platforms where it’s available. Please do share specific feedback on integration we may not have nailed yet. It push us to innovate, problem solve, and really understand your needs. We love this kind of feedback!

How about not having 4 processes and 4x the memory usage of Skype 7? No one asked for a ****** electron web app.

Windows! You are fobbing off Windows users with an appalling electon webapp! Give us a native WPF or UWP app please.

Here's a basic one for you Petr.
I cannot see the contacts below my favourites on my laptop because the huge row size means only 11 contacts fit in the list on my 17" laptop screen.
So I've selected COMPACT. Maybe that'll give me a row size like i have in excel. Nope - the row size is now 50 pixels, I've got 17 favourites on my screen, still can't see chats not from them.
How about you make that 30 pixels or less instead, or add in 'VERY COMPACT' if for some reason you really like how spacious COMPACT is...?
I am angry..
It's like you are wilfully ignoring the spirit of the requests and hoping that squeezing in incremental improvements will make this all better.
You've taking something painless that I used every day and turned it into something that disappoints for some unexplained reason? Who is this benefiting?
Petr, you do not hear us! Electron is the wrong technology, it consumes too many resources and delivers a terrible user experience.

Petr, you may claim to love this kind of feedback, but I don't think you actually understand what the OP meant. A more specific comment addressing the OP's particular concerns would be highly appreciated.

Another pointless post: completely avoids the issue in favour of generalising and putting the onus back on the OP to be more specific.
The OP means you need to STOP your one-size-fits-all bull and make the application work properly by desigining it specically for each OS/platform.
It's not like it's much work - Android, IOS, Windows & Mac; you don't even have to bother with Windowsphone 'cos no-one's using them.

Yeah, I bet it gives you a real chuckle to hear that customers expect new versions to actually have the same features as the previous version, plus some new features (that work).

Unfortunately MS is now stuck with the one-size-fits-all mantra of UWP.
Even the fact that scalability is an essential part of this, there is no provision to make these apps look or work like anything other than something designed for a 7inch smartphone.
I know I wish it was part of the windows or microsoft update. My clients do NOT have local admin rights. Skype keeps pushing out these F#<King updates and my clients are screaming bloody murder.
