i’m not a fan of the black bars at the top and bottom of the skype calls. it makes it hard to see the person i’m on call with and it’s not as attractive as the floating icons were. i thought that if i hadn’t touched the mouse for a bit that the bars would go away but they’ve remained and its a bit stressful and it’s an inconvenience to me and i’m sure it is for others. i hope you consider changing it back to the floating icons on the next windows update.

I would love to see a gallery view similar to other video conferencing platforms. A view where all of the participants in the call can be seen simultaneously. Though I understand that there may be legitimate reasons to keep the image larger and limit the number who are visible, the current version with 4 participants and the ribbon up top is useless for a large group discussion. I don't subscribe to cell phone services. I am using Skype second phone no. as my main mean of communication. However, since Skype cannot receive automatic text or phone call, I cannot register with many App which utilize 2 way verification by sending text messages to the Skype no. For truly being forward thinking and using Internet as the main mode of communication, this challenge should be overcome.

Hola. Estoy enseñando a personas mayores a usar Skype para evitar su aislamiento en estos momentos de pandemia. Tienen mucha dificultad para identificar el icono de videollamada para comenzar una comunicación. El icono es pequeño, gris, no destaca, es poco intuitivo.

También os digo que el procedimiento de solicitar a otra persona establecer contacto es muy poco práctico. Ven eso de "Di hola" y no saben lo que tienen que hacer.

Por favor, buscad un diseño y unas indicaciones que faciliten que las personas mayores puedan usarlo más fácilmente.
