share screen - phantom mouse
Add option to enable "phantom mouse" when other people click your shared screen.
when you enable the option, every time someone click the shared screen in the conversation, a "phantom mouse" will appear for few seconds in the location of the click in different color from the actual mouse with the name of the clicker.11 votes -
share screen - full screen
Add back the option to double click for full screen while someone else is sharing his screen, this option was very useful in the old versions of Skype and everyone I talked to missing it.

Blocked Skype Users Can Not Call You
A BLOCKED Skype user should not be able to ring/call your Skype! Are you working on this MS? And will this major bug be fixed in Classic Skype 7 as well as future updates? I get multiple calls through out the night because people from india call my Skype, even when I have blocked and removed from contacts. I have set Skype to forward all calls to my home phone. Now to fix this I have to forward calls to my Google Voice where I can set office hours to forward calls again to my home phone. Surely Skype can…

Make Video call controls optional
Please give us the option of hiding all call controls during video chats, you've added far too many call controls and it's annoying to see when I'm in the middle of a video conference. Make it like Skype 7 where you could just move your mouse and the call controls would fade away then if you needed them again you'd move your mouse again. Simple. Effective. User friendly.

Hi everyone. The call controls should time out (disappear) if you move the mouse outside the app window or if you don’t move it for a couple seconds. If you are not seeing this behavior, let us know and we can take a further look.

I think everyone agrees that the redesigned Skype 8 is cumbersome and difficult to use
Instead of beating a dead horse and reiterating all of the ideas below, my suggestions for the new Skype 9 are simple:
- Skype is the only messaging app that I know of that doesn't allow me to use my volume buttons to snap a picture. Please bring that back. One handed operation of any app is pretty standard these days and it's absolutely absurd to force users to use the button on the screen to take a picture. It becomes even more cumbersome if you're trying to record a video.
- The new message notification is so unobtrusive that I can't…

Do not let incoming calls steal the focus
Do not let incoming calls steal the focus. In Skype 7, incoming calls are indicated by audio (through the desktop speaker, not my headphones! D'oh!) and an unobtrusive small topmost window that DOES NOT STEAL THE FOCUS and can be moved to a preferred location, where it stays; can even be closed without blocking the call. Skype 8 steals the focus, contrary to Microsoft's own UI guidelines, and does so even when, say, I happen to be playing a game (yes, I admit I do that sometimes), interrupting game play, changing resolution, even crashing the game. I mean, that alone…

allow paste into the diaload while in a call in UWP versions of Skype for conference call PINs
the reason I'm still clinging on to the oldest version of Skype that I can on Windows 10 is that I make dozens of conference calls a month and I need to paste in long PIN numbers after the call has connected. this works reasonably well in classic Skype but has never worked in the modern or UWP versions of Skype. since I use Skype primarily for conference calls, this is a significant disadvantage.

Put back 3 minute Video message rather then 20 seconds
Many elderly people find it difficult to type (arthritis etc) and used the 3 minute video message instead of typing. Changing it to 20 second messages is just too short to leave any kind of message - and having to leave 15 messages to = 3 minutes isn't the answer either. Why would you change it from 3 minutes to 20 seconds? Please consider the elderly or people struggling with arthritis in their fingers and reinstate the 3 minute video message. It can't be that difficult to do since you had it that way before.

We want Skype for Android TV
Although Skype announced the end of support for the Skype application for Smart TVs, Microsoft should reconsider its decision and start supporting at least Skype for the Android TV operating system, that way we could use any Webcam with UVC (USB Video Device Class) such as the Logitech C920, which is currently used by a video call application called Trueconf, which Skype can compete with and regain its leadership in that market.

please let me know when call history is back
call history - the list of calls received by skype is missing in current versions so i am holding on windows v7 until it returns. the feature is missing in the android app as well even though you get a push notification, when you tap on it it returns you to nothing so you have no record of what number called you or any ability to return the call. thanks.

Add contact to an existing call
When in a call with a contact - if another contact changes status to Online you can then drag and drop that contact into the call you're already in. This worked perfectly in v7 but in v8 you have to carry out multiple steps to achieve the same result. Please keep it simple. This is great for online business meetings/gaming/family calls when contacts arrive online at different times.

There should be a way to set the priority order of devices used for audio and video out and in
Computers these days don't have a fixed set of hardware devices, it can completely change in a moments notice.
For example, a microsoft surface device could be plugged into a "docking" station, and using the video card in the keyboard unit, a camera connected to the keyboard unit, a professional usb microphone connected to the keyboard unit, two large 32" screens are used for display. With a keypress, every single one of those units goes away. And the other way around, when the keyboard is plugged in, these devices show up and become available.
Whenever something like this occur, skype…
